Short Description:
The breathable plugs help packaging containers keep pressure balance between internal and external , prevent the container from expanding or collapsing, also prevent the liquid or powder inside the container leaking, improving the safety.
The ePTFE waterproof and breathable film has three major functions: waterproof, dustproof, and breathable.
1. After induction sealing, the liquid will be prevented from flowing out.
2. The gas produced by liquid, will be discharged outward through the breathable film, reducing the pressure inside the bottle and preventing it from expanding. When the external temperature decreases and the air inside the bottle contracts, the external air can enter the inside of the bottle through the breathable film then avoid shrinking the bottle.
3. The breathable film increases the corrosion resistance of the seal liner, preventing liquid corrosion of the liners then causing leakage.
Applications
Agriculture: fertilizers, pesticides. Chemical industry: peroxides, disinfectants, liquids containing surfactants and additives, etc
Matters Needing Attention
1.The container should not be inverted or flipped over long time (more than 12 hours), otherwise the liquid will block the breathable micropores, resulting in non-breathable.
2. Drill a 2-3mm small hole in the middle of cover, to ensure the gas in the container can release to outside.
3.The breathable plug must tight fit to cap.
