We have many years professional experience in PET preforms production. Before producing preforms, we use reasonable temperature to dry pet raw materials.

It reduces the water content then improves the viscosity IV, but not increases acetaldehyde AA.

We use PET special screw, with compression ratio 1.6:1, and the length diameter ratio 24:1.

Manipulator + conveyor belt system are used to avoid damage to preforms.

There are many problems may happen during PET preform productiong, like

The bottom of PET preform turns white, opaque, the PET preform changes from transparent to opaque, fog shadow on one side of the PET preform,

silver or yellow lines, bubbles irregular ring grooves, cracks at the injection point, the mouth is not fully filled or has fusion lines,

uneven thickness, surface concave, injection point brushed, bent after detachment, bent after heating, whitened after blowing,

whitened after heating, can’t be inflated, bottom broken, eccentric, not fully blown in the vertical direction,

the wall thickness is uneven in the circumferential direction,"volcanic crater" shaped protrusion at the bottom,

the vertical bearing capacity of the bottle is poor, the bottle is prone to broken, pits and white fog inside of bottles, bottle too soft,

smell burning after blowing, water turns sour after filling and so on.
